Women’s 2009 Cambridgeshire County Championships
Huntingdon Gymnastics Club hosted the Women’s 2009 Cambridgeshire County Championships this weekend and the day was a Great success for the Huntingdon squad girls...
In level 4 section Lottie Smith (9 years) took gold, club mate Carrie Walker (9 years) won silver. In level 3, 10 year old competitor Rebecca Morris took the 1st place trophy.
The remaining categories were qualifying competitions for the regional final to be held in Ipswich on the 11th of October. Congratulations go to Hannah Philips, Rebecca Smith and Kirsty Eldridge who all won the 1st place trophy and gold medals in their sections and qualify along with other Huntingdon club mates Inola Brown and Katie Reynolds who won silver and Danielle Prior and Maddy Young who were placed 3rd in their respective categories. The Club also won the overall team trophy for both levels.
The County Coach, Rebecca Morgan was very impressed with the results and would like to thank the team of dedicated squad coaches at the club for the success and wishes the girls Good luck for the final.
